‘Hishammuddin, explain abuse of police powers’
Serdang lawmaker Teo Nie Ching, one of 11 people arrested but denied access to their lawyers last night, has demanded that Home Minister Hishammuddin Hussein should explain the abuse of power by the police. She directed the same question to Brickfields OCPD Wan Ahmad Bahari Wan Ahmad Khalid as his officers had invoked section 28A(8) of the Criminal Procedure Code. This allows the police to stop those arrested from contacting a lawyer. www.malaysiakini.com

Polis dipergunakan BN, mahkamah menyebelahi BN, Sultan perak mendengar BN. kesian anak perak yang tidak boleh membantah. apa lagi yang boleh kita buat selain kuasa mutlak BN diruntuhkan? mari kita sama-sama, berdoa dan guna undi kita untuk menukar kerajaan pusat demi kerajaan yang sihat, polis yang saksama, mahkamah yang adil, SPR yang bersih, negara yang tanpa rausah dan merealisasi wawasan 2020 yang akan datang.

everybody makes the issue in perak worse. please don’t make a scene in Ipoh. whether it’s barisan or pakatan,either side I’m fed up of you.Just be calm,or else you’ll make a fool of yourself.Don’t you have anything else to do?Your official work as ADUN perhaps?sometimes I wonder, how these politicians have the time to do 1001 things at once?Just let ones in Perak handle the matters in Perak.Don’t make things worse, because it won’t bring any good to Perakians, just benefit the politicians.

Lesson learn! When Police tells you that you don’t need lawyer and the question are simple question, BEWARE they are “traps” to make you say something to incriminate yourself.
What YB Jenice Lee mentioned is correct. The police has cross over the line and denied a civilian his/her basic legal right.
