How do nutrition/supplements help for long term results exactly? I know a lot of these so called illnesses are not caused by vitamin or mineral deficiencies but do respond to mega doses of those, and are therefore vitamin and mineral dependant. How does that work since your a doctor?

I think the way that our culture views “mental illness” is part of the reason for people going over the edge and I do think diet can play a big part in the make up of a persons mental fitness.
Mental illness does exist because we have created it and now we create new and dangerous medications for people to take it is a scam in my opinion.

Them being called something else in a time with less knowledge does not discount the fact that these illnesses still occurred.
Granted, society does not like dealing with people with such things but saying it does not exist and is just an excuse for drugging people is idiotic. Ive seen mental institutions (before flamers start, no I was not admitted there, just visited with a university group)

Psychiatry shifted from people in the community/family taking care of their own to the state locking people up in institutions to the federal government giving the patient money to live out with the people again. Psychiatric facilities are mainly funded by the state/city they are in and indirectaly through medicaid/medicare. If anyone states things in pure black and white. THE TRUTH IS IN THE GRAY

I see a lot of medical students who are very skeptical because they are not normally exposed to people with these kinds of conditions but it takes about two weeks and talking to their families. I do think Psychiatry is too geared for pharmacology and personally I include nutrition/supplements in my practice for better long term results.

the issues are not this black and white, he obviously has not experienced what these people look like. I am a Psychiatrist and I believe there is a component of genetics that you see because other family members have the same features.

This is the first time I hav to poo poo Alex, I could not accredit anyone with a partial support of psychiatry. It is pure evil and tourture in all its forms including the false data of psychology. What are the odds of three children (all boys) from the same family, all have Attention Disorder?Why, because they were a little hyper?It was better to dope them up in order to handle them better?When a child’s home is totally interrupted & them being too young to express what they are feeling & they act out,doesn’t mean they have mental problems.But with certain child protective services, it is not unusual for them to have children doped up so that they can better handle them.

there is “Mental Illnes” or so they call it, but what it really is, is we have evolved so much but our environment …. the way the government controls it .. makes it almost impossible for anyone to not be diagnosed with something … once you point it out..other than that you can figure out on your own. How your brain is reacting to certain stimuli and either correcting it with awareness or with natural organic supplements,
